Lucky Reptile Bright Sun Flood Jungle 150 W – UVA/UVB Terrarium Lamp

Lucky Reptile Bright Sun Flood Jungle – 150 W terrarium lighting

Bright Sun Flood Jungle is a metal halide bulb for E27 fixtures, designed as terrarium lighting for tropical reptiles. It combines the function of a full-spectrum daylight source, a heat radiator and a UVA and UVB emitter, so a single bulb covers several functions needed in a terrarium.

Light and UV radiation

The bulb emits light with a color temperature of 6500 K and a color rendering index of 95, which gives a natural, sunlight-like tone in the terrarium. At the same time, it provides reptiles with UVA and UVB radiation in the range needed for proper vitamin D3 synthesis and natural behaviors typical of tropical species.

Heat for reptiles

The 150 W power produces a distinct basking spot in the terrarium, which helps reptiles thermoregulate by basking in a chosen place. The bulb has a standard E27 base and a PAR38 reflector shape, so it focuses light and heat on a specific spot instead of scattering them across the whole terrarium.

Installation

For proper operation the bulb requires a ballast; the recommended fixture is the Lucky Reptile Thermo Socket & Bright Control or another E27 fixture suited to metal halide lamps of the appropriate power. The product is intended for indoor use, in terrariums for tropical reptiles.
