Clean cutting of mounting rods

The DSC251ZK is used for shortening threaded rods (studs) and rebar up to 25 mm in diameter. The rod is cut with blades, not a disc, so the edge stays clean and the thread undamaged – you can thread on a nut right away, without touching up the thread with a file. It is a tool for ventilation installers, plumbers and electricians who hang trays, pipes and ducts on rods.

Cutting right at the wall

A rod can be cut horizontally or vertically, leaving only about 3.5 mm from the wall or ceiling. The removable side handle can be mounted in three positions, and the head guard protects the cutting mechanism from damage.
