The DUP361PT2 is a set for all-day cutting in vineyards, orchards and nurseries. The cutting head with an anvil blade is held in the hand, while the batteries sit in a carrying backpack connected to the shears by a cable. This way the hand does not carry the weight of the batteries, and the blade closes electrically when the trigger is pressed, which reduces hand fatigue over thousands of cuts.

Power

The backpack holds two Makita 18 V LXT batteries. The set includes two BL1850 5.0 Ah batteries and a DC18RD dual charger that charges both batteries at the same time. The same batteries power other Makita 18 V tools, such as drivers or grass trimmers.
