Medisept Velodes Silk – hand disinfection liquid

Velodes Silk is a professional, alcohol-based preparation for hygienic and surgical disinfection of hands and skin, produced by Medisept. The ready-to-use liquid comes in a 1-liter bottle adapted to euro-type dispensers, which makes refilling easier in high-traffic places.

Broad spectrum of action

The preparation is bactericidal, tuberculocidal against tuberculosis mycobacteria, yeasticidal and has limited virucidal action, including against enveloped viruses such as SARS-CoV-2, HIV, HBV and HCV. This makes it suitable for places with increased hygiene requirements.

Use

• Hygienic hand disinfection – 2 x 3 ml rubbed in for 30 seconds
• Surgical hand disinfection – 2 x 3 ml rubbed in for 3 minutes
• Medical facilities, the food sector and public buildings
• Disinfection of surfaces in contact with food and of non-invasive medical devices

Medical device status

The product is a class IIa medical device, marked with the CE 2274 mark, intended for use by a professional user, with full documentation in Polish. The preparation is odorless and contains no dyes or fragrances.
