Modulor – bookbinding dispersion adhesive 250 g, transparent

Modulor bookbinding adhesive is a transparent resin-based dispersion adhesive designed for gluing book spines, binding documents and joining paper and cardboard. After drying it forms a flexible, durable bond that does not yellow over time and contains no acids that could damage paper.

Properties

The adhesive is water resistant when wet and resistant to aging, which makes it suitable for bookbinding work that requires a bond to last for many years, for example when restoring or binding books and catalogs. Low viscosity makes it easier to spread the adhesive evenly over the spine surface.

Use

Besides its classic bookbinding use, the adhesive works for gluing paper and cardboard in creative and art projects, for example combined with acrylic paint to create painting effects. It can be thinned with water by up to 10% to make it easier to apply on larger surfaces, without losing bonding strength.

Packaging

The adhesive is packed in a 250 g plastic container, which makes dosing and storage between uses easier. The bond fully cures after about 24 hours.
