Replacing gaskets is necessary whenever the engine is taken apart - during an overhaul, valve adjustment or clutch replacement - and when oil or coolant leaks or exhaust leaks appear. Complete sets are convenient for a general overhaul of the unit.

The most important thing is the exact fit for the model, engine capacity and year of the vehicle - check the catalog number or the engine designation. Pay attention to the gasket material: metal, multilayer, paper or rubber. When fitting, observe the tightening torques and keep the mating surfaces clean. Do not reuse old gaskets, even if they look undamaged, because after tightening they lose their elasticity and sealing.
