OBEST – backup camera kit with 4.3-inch LCD monitor

OBEST – backup camera kit with 4.3-inch monitor

The OBEST backup camera kit is a complete solution for cars, campers, trailers and vans without a factory parking assist system. The kit includes a camera and a separate 4.3-inch LCD screen, so the whole system can be installed even in a vehicle without a navigation unit or a radio with a video input.

Easy installation

Power comes from the car cigarette lighter socket, and the monitor connects to the camera with a single cable, which greatly simplifies installation compared with traditional, complicated wiring. The kit can be handled even by someone with no prior experience in car electrics – it works only in 12 V vehicles.

Field of view and durability

The 170-degree wide-angle lens eliminates blind spots for vehicles, pedestrians and obstacles close behind the car. The IP67 protection rating ensures resistance to rain, fog and strong sunlight, so the camera keeps working in difficult weather conditions.

Operating modes

The kit offers two control modes – cutting the green wire switches the view from mirrored to front, and cutting the white wire enables parking assist. The kit includes a 6.5-meter video cable, which makes it easier to run the installation from the rear of the vehicle to the cockpit.
