A universal fuel filter housing with a transparent body that lets you keep an eye on fuel flow and on the condition of the filter element. It protects the engine and fuel system from contaminants such as water, sediment and solid particles, extending the life of the fuel pump and injectors in a car, truck or other vehicle with a combustion engine.

Filtration and parameters

The 30 micron filter element provides high flow while maintaining good filtration efficiency. A protective plate keeps the element from deforming under pressure. Maximum flow is about 25 gallons per minute, and maximum working pressure reaches 150 psi, so the housing can be used in typical fuel systems of passenger cars and vans.

Application

The housing is universal and suitable for petrol, diesel, heating oil and blends containing up to 20% biodiesel. At the bottom of the housing there is a drain valve for removing collected water without having to remove the whole filter, which makes routine servicing of the fuel system easier.

Build

The body is made of alloy steel, with ABS plastic for the transparent part, which provides durability along with the ability to visually check fuel flow. The port size is 1.3 inch, matching typical sizes used in fuel filter housings fitted to vehicles.
