Philips TAEP200 – DVD player for TV with HDMI

Philips TAEP200 – DVD player for TV

The Philips TAEP200 is a DVD player designed for a natural, sharp picture and wide compatibility with various disc formats. It works well in the living room as well as in a bedroom or kids' room, letting you play your DVD movie collection.

12-bit video converter

The device is equipped with a 12-bit video digital-to-analog converter, which preserves more picture detail than cheaper 10-bit solutions. As a result, movies gain subtler shadows and smoother color transitions, especially visible on large screens.

Plays almost any disc

The Philips TAEP200 plays practically all kinds of discs: CD, (S)VCD, DVD, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW and DVD-RW, and it also supports AVI, DivX and MPEG files from USB storage. This versatility lets you use one device for different types of media.

Convenient picture adjustment

The screen adjustment function lets you display movies full screen on the TV, without black bars at the top and bottom of the picture. The player has an HDMI output and surround sound support, which improves the comfort of watching movies at home.
