Playboi Carti – debut mixtape on CD

Playboi Carti is the debut mixtape of the American rapper from Atlanta, released in 2017. The album brought him wide recognition and is considered one of the more important releases of the new wave of hip-hop, in which atmosphere, hypnotic beats and a distinctive, melodic way of rapping matter most.

About the release

The album was released by Interscope. The disc includes, among others, tracks that became hits on streaming services. The lyrics contain profanity, which is why the cover carries an explicit lyrics label. The production is based on minimalist, modern trap beats.

Who it is for

The album will appeal to fans of contemporary rap and trap, and to collectors of physical releases who want one of the key albums of this scene on their shelf. It is also a good gift for a teenage hip-hop fan.

Physical edition

A physical edition with the original cover and printed materials is a keepsake that streaming cannot replace, and a guarantee that your favorite recordings will stay in your home collection for years. The disc is best stored in its case, away from sunlight and heat sources, and before buying make sure your player supports the format.
