Portugal 1971 Europa – FDC cover with stamp set

A first day cover, or FDC, with the complete set of Portuguese commemorative stamps from the 1971 Europa issue. Catalog numbers 1127-1129 mean the full issue, so on the cover you will find all the stamps of the set postmarked on the day of issue.

Why it is worth it

• a complete commemorative set on one cover,
• a commemorative postmark from the issue day,
• a valuable element of a thematic Europa stamp collection,
• a small, light format that is easy to store in an album.

Details

Prophila Collection sets are sold from the publisher's stock, so the delivered item may differ in details from the illustrative photo. An FDC cover is best kept in a protective sleeve or in a cover album to avoid creases and moisture. Postal stationery and first day covers of this kind are valued by collectors as documents of postal history.
