QWORK roof rack set, soft racks – for cars without roof rails

QWORK roof rack set – soft racks with straps

Roof rack sets of this type let you carry gear on the roof of a car that has no factory roof rails or mounting tracks. The soft, padded bars are laid directly on the roof and fastened with straps through the doors – no drilling, no metal frames and no need to remove them after the trip.

Mounting and load capacity

The kit includes 2 adjustable 4.5 m straps with a buckle, 2 nylon cords with a carabiner and 2 pairs of ratchet straps, which together securely press the load against the roof. The set supports up to 60 kg, which, depending on size, lets you carry 1–3 shortboard surfboards, 1–2 longboards, or a kayak or skis.

Roof protection and storage

The underside of the bars is covered with non-slip EVA foam, which protects the roof paint from scratches and also prevents the load from shifting while driving. Installation requires no tools, and once taken off the roof the whole set fits in the trunk – packed, it takes up approx. 44 x 30 x 15 cm. This solution is designed mainly for light gear (skis, boards, snowboard), so it is worth limiting your speed on longer trips with a load.
