Work shoes are low protective footwear, lighter and more breathable than work boots. In this category you will find safety shoes with and without a toe cap, slip-resistant, antistatic and ESD models, sport-style sneaker shoes, and footwear for the kitchen, warehouse, workshop and construction site.

The most important thing is the protection class in line with the standard. The markings S1, S1P, S2 and S3 specify, among other things, the presence of a toe cap, a puncture-resistant midsole and water resistance, and the SRC symbol slip resistance. Requirements for footwear are usually set by the employer in the occupational risk assessment.

Pay attention to the upper material, the type of sole and the weight of the shoe, because the footwear is worn for the whole shift. A composite toe cap is lighter than a steel one and does not conduct cold. Choose shoes while wearing work socks, checking that your toes do not touch the toe cap. Regular cleaning extends the life of the footwear.
