Scrapbooking add-ons and embellishments

Scrapbooking is a technique of creating hand-decorated albums, cards and notebooks. In this category you will find embellishments that give projects character: stickers, die cuts and chipboard shapes, paper flowers, studs, brads, buttons, sequins, pearls, lace and washi tapes.

Add-ons are worth choosing to match the theme and color scheme of the project – a wedding album, a birthday card or a holiday card. Themed sets make it easier to keep a consistent style, and individual elements let you fill gaps in your collection of missing colors and shapes.

Pay attention to the thickness of the elements, especially if the work is to go into an envelope or an album with sleeves. Three-dimensional embellishments are best attached with hot glue or foam tape. For photo albums, choose acid-free materials that do not damage photographs. Stamps, inks and decorative punches are also useful, letting you create your own decorative elements. Small embellishments are most conveniently stored in organizers with compartments, which makes it easy to find the color and shape you need.
