Sid Meier's Civilization VII - strategy game for Xbox Series X

Sid Meier's Civilization VII is the next instalment in one of the most highly regarded strategy game series in history. The player guides the development of their own civilization from the dawn of time, through successive historical eras, to building an empire able to compete with other nations militarily, scientifically, culturally or diplomatically.

Era-based gameplay

A novelty for the series is the division of gameplay into distinct historical eras, each of which offers separate mechanics, available civilizations and resources to discover. At the start of each new era, the player can change the direction of their state's development, choosing a path matched to their achievements so far.

Leaders and civilizations

The game offers a wide choice of leaders - from classic rulers known for military or political power to figures associated with science, philosophy and human rights. Each of them brings unique bonuses and play styles.

Multiplayer mode

Civilization VII lets you compete against another player in a two-player mode, which adds another dimension of strategic rivalry for world domination.
