SilverStone SF01 – PC case sound dampening mats, 2 pcs, 4 mm foam

SilverStone SF01 – sound dampening foam for a PC case

The SilverStone SST-SF01 is a set of two mats made of dense EPOM foam that stick to the inside of a computer case to reduce noise generated by fans, drives and the power supply. It is a simple way to a quieter setup without replacing components.

How it works

The dense 4 mm foam absorbs vibrations and some of the sound traveling inside the case. The mats also hold well at the elevated temperature found inside a computer under load.

Installation

• the material can be easily cut with scissors or a utility knife to the size of the case wall,
• fits most computer cases,
• the set includes two mats, so you can dampen two panels, for example the side panel and the top.
