A wealth of connectors combined with very advanced components and a very intuitive control panel. This is a complete product that can handle any task. The SMSL M3 is a multifunction DAC with an amplifier, equipped with all the popular connectors: from asynchronous USB, through optical, to coaxial. The output is the traditional 6.3mm Jack connector, most commonly found on over-ear headphones. It is worth mentioning that the SMSL M3 works with PCs and with Android-based devices that support DACs over USB OTG, which further increases the versatility of the device.

The SMSL M3 has a very powerful headphone output. When powered with 5V from a power bank or a mains charger, the amplifier delivers as much as 1.5 W of power. This large output makes the device compatible with practically any headphones. There are no clear hardware limitations here. With a 10,000 mAh power bank, you can enjoy music for up to 20 hours. The class of the device shows in the components used. The SMSL M3 uses asynchronous USB which sends audio to a Cirrus Logic CS4398 converter. It is the same chip found in top-end portable players, which sometimes cost many thousands of zlotys.

The minimalist front panel is made entirely of aluminum. The device houses the headphone jack, the power switch, the potentiometer and a very legible LED sampling frequency indicator.
