Sony FE 24-50 mm F2.8 G SEL2450G – compact fast full-frame zoom

Sony FE 24-50 mm F2.8 G (SEL2450G)

A fast zoom in a pocket-sized body

The SEL2450G is a compact zoom lens with a constant F2.8 aperture, designed for full-frame cameras with a Sony E mount. The 24-50 mm range covers wide angle and a focal length close to standard, and the F2.8 brightness lets you shoot in low light and blur the background.

Features

• constant F2.8 aperture
• aperture ring with click switch
• fast, quiet autofocus useful when filming
• short minimum focus distance for close-up shots
• 67 mm filter thread

Use

The compact fast zoom suits small bodies such as the Alpha 7C II or 7CR, as well as work on a gimbal and a drone. A weight of approx. 440 g makes it a comfortable companion when traveling, on the street and for everyday shooting. It is a good alternative to larger and heavier 24-70 mm zooms.
