Sony HVL-F46RM – GN46 flash with radio control

Sony HVL-F46RM – compact flash with radio control

Power and portability

The HVL-F46RM is a flash mounted on the hot shoe of Sony cameras. A guide number of 46 provides enough light for portraits, events and reportage, and the compact housing does not weigh down the camera like larger reportage flashes.

Key features

• built-in radio control for up to 15 flashes in 5 groups
• high-speed sync with short shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s
• rotating and tilting head for bouncing the flash
• dust- and moisture-resistant construction
• display and buttons for quick setting changes

Wireless lighting

Thanks to radio communication the flash can act as a transmitter or receiver in a setup with other Sony flashes, letting you build lighting from several points without cables. Fast sync is useful when shooting with a wide-open aperture in the sun and when freezing motion.
