Discover the SteelSeries Arctis 5 in 360 degrees.
SteelSeries searched for the right materials to create headphones that would be not only great in terms of performance, but also comfortable. With the Arctis 5 headphones, this feat succeeded. The inspiration for the cushions inside the ear cups came from sportswear. The cushions created by SteelSeries, called AirWeave, are extremely soft and pleasant to the touch. Memory foam has been placed inside a breathable, moisture-wicking material. This material was additionally coated with a thermoplastic layer providing effective noise isolation.

7.1 surround sound.

SteelSeries, together with DTS Headphone:X, created a completely new algorithm for the Arctis 5 headphones. In terms of surround sound, DTS Headphone:X has solutions that go well beyond the usual patterns. Thanks to this, the 7.1 surround sound in the Arctis 5 headphones lets you tell exactly where your opponent is at any given moment, and from which side a given sound appeared. * DTS Headphone:X surround sound is available only on Windows.

Built-in ClearCast microphone.

In the past, every headset was equipped with an inadequate microphone. Wanting to get rid of bad practices, SteelSeries created the ClearCast microphone. The SteelSeries Arctis 5 headphones are equipped with a bidirectional ClearCast microphone. This reimagined microphone effectively reduces ambient noise while guaranteeing clear sound during conversation. The ClearCast microphone focuses on the user's speech, and thereby eliminates all sounds heard in the background. The ClearCast microphone sets new standards in the field of gaming microphones.

ChatMix Dial panel.

Thanks to the function and the special, dedicated ChatMix Dial panel for the SteelSeries Arctis 5 headphones, you can easily adjust the volume of both conversations with team members and the level of sounds coming from the game. When the indicator on the ChatMix Dial panel is in the middle, the chat and game volume remain at the same level. You just need to slide your finger across the special panel to the left or right, thereby increasing the volume of the chat or the game sounds. As you increase the game volume level, the chat volume is automatically lowered. If you want to talk calmly with friends, increase the chat volume - the game sounds will be muted. This solution is also useful for muting the chat when one of its participants is too loud and disrupts the game. By increasing the game audio volume you simultaneously mute the shouts of an annoying player.
