Steiner Ranger Xtreme 8x56 – hunting binoculars for twilight

Steiner Ranger Xtreme 8x56

Optics for dawn and dusk

The Ranger Xtreme 8x56 is a hunting binocular designed for observation in low light. The 56 mm objective lenses and a 7 mm exit pupil give a bright image when game is most active – early in the morning and after sunset. The manufacturer declares light transmission above 92 percent.

Wide field of view

Eight-times magnification provides a stable image without a tripod, and a field of view of about 125 m at 1000 m makes it easy to observe wide terrain. The central focus knob lets you focus from about 2 m, and the diopter adjustment is ±4 dpt.

Rugged construction

The body is nitrogen-filled, so the optics do not fog up from the inside, and remains waterproof. The NBR rubber coating protects against impacts and improves grip in gloves. This is German optics for the hunting high seat and stalking.
