Superbat – RG8X PL259 coaxial cable for CB radio

The fifteen-meter RG8X antenna cable terminated with PL259 plugs (male-male) lets you run a cable from a CB antenna to a radio even over a larger mounting distance, e.g. when the antenna is on a mast or building roof and the radio is indoors.

Construction and signal quality

The cable uses aluminum foil and tinned copper braid shielding, which limits electromagnetic interference and ensures stable signal transmission. Polyethylene insulation reduces attenuation, so the cable works well over longer runs in the UHF/VHF band.

Connectors

The PL259 plugs are made of nickel-plated brass resistant to corrosion, and the larger-diameter center pin ensures reliable electrical contact. The threaded connection to an SO239 socket gives a stable mechanical hold.

Weather resistance

The outer PVC jacket protects the cable from wind, rain and moisture, and the connections are additionally reinforced with heat-shrink tubing, which increases resistance to stretching and accidental loosening.
