T.K.Excellent set of 68 metal cavity anchors with screws

The set of metal cavity anchors is a practical solution for fixing objects to plasterboard and other lightweight walls where ordinary plastic plugs do not provide sufficient strength. Once inserted into the hole, the anchors spread into a star shape behind the surface of the board, so they brace firmly against its back side and hold a much greater load than typical plugs.

Applications

The set is suitable for hanging kitchen cabinets, shelves, mirrors, curtain rails, pictures or light bookcases on plasterboard walls. Thanks to the different thread sizes (M6, M8, M10, M12) you can match the anchor to the specific task and load. The galvanised finish protects the parts from corrosion, which extends their durability even in damper rooms, for example a bathroom.

Installation

Installation consists of drilling a hole of the appropriate diameter, inserting the anchor and tightening it, which causes its fixing arms to spread. As a result the fixing is stable and does not turn in the hole when the screw is tightened.
