tado Smart Radiator Thermostat X – starter kit, 2 heads + Bridge

tado Smart Radiator Thermostat X – starter kit

The tado Smart Radiator Thermostat X starter kit lets you turn ordinary radiator valves into a smart heating system controlled from an app. The kit includes two smart thermostatic heads and a bridge (Bridge) connecting them to your home network.

Installation

The heads are installed yourself, without calling a plumber – just choose the right adapter from the kit for your radiator valve and tighten the metal nut. Installation can even be done without an internet connection, and the online setup finished later.

Control and integrations

After connecting to your home network, the heads can be controlled from the phone app – setting heating schedules, geofencing (automatically lowering the temperature when nobody is home) and open window detection. The system works with the Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri voice assistants, as well as with the Matter protocol.

Energy savings

Precise temperature control in individual rooms lets you cut back heating of empty rooms and adjust heating to the actual needs of the household, instead of maintaining a constant temperature in all rooms at once.
