Tamiya 35391 M24 Chaffee Euro Theater 1:35 – tank model kit

Tamiya 35391 – American M24 Chaffee light tank in 1:35 scale

A plastic 1:35 scale military model from the Japanese company Tamiya, depicting the M24 Chaffee tank in its European theater version. Once assembled, the model is approximately 16 cm long and 9 cm wide, and the 1:35 scale lets you easily combine it with figures and dioramas from other kits by this manufacturer.

About the vehicle

The M24 was developed as the successor to the light Stuart tanks. It had sloped armor plates, a 75 mm gun and a torsion bar suspension, unusual for American designs. It was used from 1944 in France and Italy and on many later fronts, including Korea.

Building the model

This is a model kit that you assemble and paint yourself. The precisely fitting parts are joined following the step-by-step instructions, as in any model kit that requires gluing. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be bought separately. The kit is recommended for ages 14 and up.

Note

The instructions may not be in Polish; however, they are illustrated, so they are easy to follow. It is a good choice for modelers who like World War II tanks.
