Tattoo inks and pigments

When choosing, pay attention to compliance with EU regulations on the composition of tattoo inks (REACH) and to the expiration date and batch number on the package. Consistency is also important – thicker inks work better for outlines, thinner ones for shading and fills.

Store inks in a cool, shaded place and do not mix them in the original bottle. Always work with disposable cups, in line with the hygiene rules in force in a tattoo studio. It is good to keep a record of the batch numbers of the inks used, which makes contacting the client and meeting sanitary requirements easier.
