Tiardey EN-EL14 EP-5A - USB-C power adapter for Nikon cameras instead

Tiardey EN-EL14 EP-5A - power adapter instead of a battery for Nikon cameras

The Tiardey EN-EL14 EP-5A set is a dummy EN-EL14 battery combined with a USB-C power adapter, so the camera runs from a constant power source instead of a battery. It is a practical solution for people who shoot photos or record video for a long time and do not want to interrupt a session to swap the battery.

How it works

The dummy battery goes into the camera's battery compartment exactly like a regular EN-EL14 battery, and is then connected with a USB-C cable to any power source - a power bank, a wall charger or a computer USB port. The camera immediately starts using the external power.

Use

The solution works well for studio sessions, timelapse recordings, live streaming from the camera, and anywhere the camera runs stationary for many hours and swapping the battery would be inconvenient or impossible without interrupting the recording.
