Safer reversing

Working with a compatible GPS device, the BC 30 wireless backup camera helps you identify vehicles, pedestrians, animals and other hard-to-spot obstacles behind your vehicle. Connected to the reverse lights, the camera automatically displays the image every time you shift into reverse. When you resume driving, it switches back to navigation mode.

Clear view of the rear of the vehicle

Optionally, you can connect the system to a constant power source and switch between modes with a button. The transmitter sends the image to the navigation device from a distance of up to 10 meters (range may vary depending on installation).

Professional installation recommended

Garmin recommends entrusting installation of the BC 30 camera to a specialist, although it can be installed yourself. Mounting the rear camera and connecting it to power, for example from the tail lights, is the key to good performance. The BC 30 features a durable, weather-resistant construction. Up to 4 cameras can be installed in one system, providing a wide field of view.
