The Vgate iCar Pro is a small OBD2 diagnostic interface using Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0, which, once plugged into the car's diagnostic socket, wirelessly sends engine and other system data to a phone, tablet or computer. The device lets you read and clear the fault codes responsible for a lit Check Engine light, without having to visit a workshop.

How it works

The adapter plugs directly into the OBD2 port, which most passenger cars made since the early 2000s are equipped with. After pairing with a mobile app that supports the OBD protocol (for example over Bluetooth), you can read engine operating parameters and stored fault codes in real time.

Power and ease of use

Thanks to its small size and power-saving function, the adapter can stay permanently plugged into the OBD2 socket without excessively draining the vehicle's battery. The device works with popular OBD diagnostic apps on iOS, Android and Windows.

Compatibility
