vhbw engine air filter for JCB 8018 excavator (Perkins 403C/404C/404D)

vhbw air filter for JCB 8018 excavator

The air filter element is an engine component that stops dust and sand before they reach the cylinders. This vhbw replacement is intended for JCB 8018 mini excavators with Perkins 403C-11, 404C-22 and 404D-22 engines.

Why the air filter matters

On a construction site and in a gravel pit the air is full of fine particles. A worn or clogged filter worsens combustion and speeds up engine wear, so the element should be checked and replaced regularly.

Construction

• inner and outer support mesh protecting the filter fleece,
• material: aluminum, filter fleece and rubber,
• replacement for numbers 6673752, 6673752N and E1505L.

Tips

Before buying, compare the parameters with the part you are replacing and pay attention to the dimensions given in the specifications. A well-matched part simplifies installation and reduces the risk of repeating the repair. If you are unsure about the fit, compare the catalog number with the marking on the old part or measure its key dimensions and match them against the table above. Installation should be done with the engine off and in line with the safety rules that apply to work on a vehicle's fuel or drive system.
