Every member of the household can have access to the camera. With the smartphone app, many users can view the picture at the same time. If you are on the local network and the camera's output bandwidth is not exceeded, you can connect over the local network. If it is exceeded, communication goes through the cloud. Just install the app on your devices, add the camera and you are done. If you want to view the camera picture on a computer, that is possible too. Just install the Vimtag app for Windows or connect through a browser by entering the IP address or logging in to your account.

Get notifications when something happens. Get notifications only when you want them. The camera has three notification modes: home, away and automatic. If you are at home and do not want constant notifications, use home mode, in which they are turned off. If you are away and want to receive motion detection notifications, use away mode. In automatic mode you can decide when notifications should arrive by setting up a schedule.

Motion detection. The camera has a motion detection option, so when motion is detected it can take a photo, record a video or send a notification to the mobile app. These options can be configured separately for home and away modes. To improve effectiveness, sensitivity can be set separately for day and night modes.

Two-way audio. If you want to listen to what is happening around the camera, communicate with your family, check whether your child is sleeping or give a command to your pet, the Vimtag camera makes it possible. With the two-way audio option you can communicate both ways using the camera and a smartphone with the mobile app installed. In the app you can set the speaker volume and microphone sensitivity so that the communication quality meets your expectations.

Software updates. Vimtag cares about the quality of its product and releases software updates for the camera and the mobile app. Updates improve the product further and increase its functionality. The whole process is extremely simple: in the app, go to the system tab and click the update button. The camera software will be downloaded and updated automatically. When a new version of the mobile app is available, an alert notification appears. After you accept, the update happens automatically.
