WMF Gourmet Stainless steel kitchen colander 24 cm

WMF Gourmet - stainless steel kitchen colander 24 cm

The WMF Gourmet colander is a classic, solidly made kitchen tool that works well for draining pasta, vegetables or fruit. The German brand WMF has long been associated with high-quality kitchen accessories, and this model combines a simple, functional form with a material resistant to everyday, intensive use.

Material and build

The colander is made entirely of stainless steel, so it resists the acids in fruit or tomatoes and does not absorb food odors. The 24-centimeter diameter and 12-centimeter height provide enough capacity to drain a larger portion of pasta or vegetables for the whole family at once. Protruding handles on the sides make it easy to hold securely even when it is full of hot water.

Use in the kitchen

The colander works not only for draining pasta or potatoes, but also for washing fruit such as grapes, strawberries or blueberries, and for draining canned contents, for example beans or corn. The density of holes with a mesh size of two centimeters lets water drain quickly while holding back even smaller ingredients.

Care

The product is dishwasher safe, which makes it easy to keep clean without scrubbing by hand. Stainless steel does not corrode and keeps its attractive appearance even after many years of regular use, making this colander a durable investment in kitchen equipment.
