Wmmner Fatbike 26x4.0 - fat tire bike, 27 speeds, white

Wmmner Fatbike 26x4.0 – fat tire bike

This fatbike is a mountain bike with characteristic, very wide 26 x 4.0 inch tires, made for riding on surfaces where ordinary wheels sink or slip – beach sand, loose ground or forest trails. The wide tread acts as natural suspension, so the bike copes well even without a suspension fork.

Frame and construction

The frame is made of high-carbon (hi-ten) steel in size 43 cm (17 inches) – a material typical of fatbikes, valued for its strength and resistance to the impacts typical of riding in difficult terrain. The rigid steel front fork is a deliberate design choice: with tires this wide, additional suspension is unnecessary, and leaving it out lowers the weight and the maintenance cost of the bike.

Drivetrain and brakes

The 27-speed Shimano gear system with a trigger shifter lets you smoothly select the ratio both on sand and on firmer ground. Mechanical disc brakes 160/160 mm provide effective braking regardless of weather conditions and dirt on the wheels.

Wheels and comfort

The 26 x 4.0 inch tires are mounted on single-wall aluminum rims with 36 spoke holes – a construction designed for strength under the high side loads typical of off-road riding. The wide, foam-padded saddle and adjustable aluminum seatpost let you adjust the position to your height (the manufacturer recommends riders 175-195 cm tall).
