Yamaha CLP9 CVP1 P60 120 piano keys

Looking for an excellent musical instrument? Whether it is a digital piano, a stage piano or a synthesizer with a weighted keyboard - Yamaha offers a wide selection that can make your head spin. Our description will make the choice much easier.

Differences between Yamaha models often come down to the type of keyboard. That is why it is worth learning about these subtle differences and choosing the one that is ideal for you.

If playing comfort matters to you, the GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keyboard will be an ideal choice. Light, yet giving a good representation of key pressure and resistance, it is well suited to beginner pianists. Models such as the Yamaha P-45 or Arius YDP-S34 are examples of pianos with a GHS keyboard.

For more advanced musicians we recommend the GH3 (Graded Hammer) keyboard. With three sensors and precise reproduction of playing technique, it guarantees a dynamic and fast response to subtle differences in key pressure. Models such as the Yamaha Arius YDP-S54 are a great choice for demanding players.

If you are looking for something more versatile, check out the BHS (Balanced Hammer Standard) keyboard. It is ideal for playing the piano, but also for experimenting with different sounds. You will find it in instruments such as the MONTAGE 8 or CP73.

The NW-GH (Natural Wood Graded Hammer) keyboard, on the other hand, is a choice for professionals. With synthetic ebony and ivory keys, it provides the fastest stage piano action on the market. Models such as the CP88 are a guarantee of quality and precision.

NW-X (Natural Wood X) is a keyboard made with the utmost care and based on Yamaha's experience in producing acoustic pianos. The Linear Graded Hammer system and precise workmanship make models such as the Yamaha P-515 ideal for demanding musicians.
