Aquael Ultramax 1000 – canister filter for 100-300 l aquariums

Aquael Ultramax 1000

The Ultramax 1000 is an external canister filter, that is, an aquarium filter, designed for freshwater aquariums with a capacity of 100 to 300 liters. With a power consumption of just 15 W it provides a flow of up to 1000 liters of water per hour, so it maintains high water quality without high running costs.

Features that make maintenance easier

The built-in 0.6-liter pre-filter traps large debris before it reaches the main media, which lengthens the intervals between cleanings. The double ball valve system lets you shut off the water inflow and outflow in one move – useful when servicing the filter, as it eliminates the risk of flooding. The filter also has an automatic priming system, making the first start-up easier.

Effective filtration

Three filter baskets of 1.9 liters each provide mechanical and biological filtration, and if needed you can also place chemical media in them, such as activated carbon. The pump impeller design with a ceramic shaft makes the unit run very quietly.
