Eheim Professionel 4+ 600 – external aquarium filter for 240-600 l

Eheim Professionel 4+ 600

The Professionel 4+ 600 is an external canister filter for large freshwater aquariums with a capacity of 240 to 600 liters. It has a pump flow rate of up to 1250 liters per hour and a filter media capacity of 6.5 liters, which helps maintain stable water parameters even in larger tanks.

Xtender function

The filter uses the Xtender function, which maintains a constant water flow and good oxygenation despite the gradual clogging of the filter media. As a result, the intervals between filter cleanings can be extended without losing filtration effectiveness.

Construction and performance

The anthracite gray housing has a modern look and fits in a typical aquarium cabinet. The maximum lift is 1.8 meters and power consumption is only 16 W, which is an energy-efficient solution for this level of filtration performance.

For large tanks

The large filter media capacity and high flow rate mean this external filter copes well in heavily stocked aquariums, where both mechanical and biological filtration are important. It also works well in tanks with large fish, which produce more organic waste.
