BGS 1688 – hydraulic body repair kit 4 t

A complete body repair kit with a hand pump and ram that works as a hydraulic spreader. It is used for pressing, clamping and spreading body panels after collisions: straightening longitudinal members, sills, pillars, door openings and wheel arches. The maximum force is 4 tons.

What's in the kit

• hydraulic pump with hose, pump length 350 mm,
• hydraulic ram with a pressing width of 75 mm,
• extension tubes of various lengths,
• attachments: spreading wedge, rubber foot, V head, plate, connectors,
• sturdy plastic case.

How it is used

The ram with extensions is placed between two support points, an attachment is chosen and you pump. The controlled hydraulic ram moves the sheet metal gradually, which lets you restore dimensions without jerking and with good control. The spreading wedge slides into narrow gaps, for example between a pillar and a door.

The BGS 1688 kit will serve in any body repair shop.
