BGS 74596 – 13 drifts, center punches and chisels with hand protection

A workshop set of striking tools from BGS, in which each tool has a two-component handle with a guard. This hand protection significantly reduces the risk of injury from a missed hammer blow and dampens vibration. The BGS 74596 set is kept in a rack that can be hung on a wall.

• 5 drift punches for cotter pins and pins, diameters 8–16 mm, length 250 mm,
• 3 center punches with a tapered tip for marking before drilling,
• 5 flat chisels of different widths,
• a rack with mounting holes.

Material

The working parts are made of chrome-vanadium steel, and the shanks are octagonal. Flat chisels are suitable for metalworking, cutting off rusted bolt heads and rivets, and for light masonry work. Drift punches help drive out control arm pins, locating pins and cotter pins.
