Blackview Shark 9 – 5G smartphone with a large battery

The Blackview Shark 9 is an Android 15 smartphone that combines 5G connectivity, a 50 MP main camera and a high-capacity battery. It is aimed at people looking for an everyday phone without overpaying for a brand name.

Display and performance

The display, about 6.7 inches diagonally, runs at a 90 Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling and animations smooth. It is powered by an octa-core processor, and the manufacturer specifies 8 GB of RAM expandable with virtual memory and 256 GB of storage. Memory can be expanded with a card of up to 2 TB.

Camera and connectivity

The rear main camera has 50 MP, alongside a wide-angle and a macro lens. At the front there is an 8 MP selfie camera. AI functions help remove unwanted objects from photos and improve portraits. The phone supports two SIM cards, 5G, NFC and GPS, and has a fingerprint reader and face recognition. The 3.5 mm headphone jack has been retained.

Battery

The 5000 mAh battery lasts through an intensive day of use, and 18 W charging via USB-C shortens the time spent at the outlet.
