DeWALT DCF892N – brushless 1/2 inch XR 18V impact wrench

Mid-class, great power

The DCF892 is an impact wrench with a 1/2 inch square drive, intended for removing and tightening wheels, structural bolts and machine connections. The brushless motor develops a maximum torque of about 812 Nm, and the body, only 147 mm long, lets you reach bolts in tight engine bays or under a vehicle.

Construction

• all-metal gearbox
• anvil with a detent pin that holds sockets
• several operating modes with speed limiting, useful for more delicate connections
• LED light illuminating the work area

The weight of the tool alone is about 1.1 kg, so the wrench is noticeably lighter than large models with torque over 1000 Nm, yet still handles most workshop and service jobs.

Bare-tool version

This variant is supplied without battery and charger. It works with all DeWALT XR 18V batteries; under heavy loads 5 Ah cells work best.
