Less noise when driving screws

The DCF870 is an impact driver with a hydraulic impact mechanism. Unlike a classic impact driver, in which metal parts strike each other, here the energy is transferred through oil, so operation is noticeably quieter and smoother. This is a big advantage when installing in occupied apartments, offices and hospitals, and also when driving screws for hours.

Compact build

• body length of only 101 mm
• torque up to 56 Nm, enough for assembly screws and for boards
• speed up to 4000 rpm
• 1/4 inch hex chuck with one-handed bit insertion
• flashlight mode - about 20 minutes of continuous LED light

The brushless motor made it possible to shorten the tool and extend its service life. A weight of about 1.2 kg makes overhead work easier, and the short body fits between profiles and in cabinets.

Bare tool version

The version without battery and charger - it fits any DeWALT XR 18V battery, and for longer work 5 Ah cells work best.
