DeWALT DCF887D2 – XR 18V brushless impact driver with compact batteries

Powerful and light

The DCF887 is an impact driver with a 1/4 inch hex chuck and a brushless motor delivering up to 205 Nm of torque. It drives long wood screws, structural bolts and anchors without pre-drilling, and the impact mechanism limits the force transmitted to the wrist. In the D2 version the tool comes with compact 2 Ah batteries, making the whole set very light.

Three speeds

• three speeds selected with a button at the base of the handle, up to about 3250 rpm
• precision mode for driving small fasteners
• three LEDs around the chuck with no shadow
• metal belt hook and magnetic bit holder

The short body lets you work in cabinets, between joists and overhead. It is a good choice for furniture installers, carpenters and electricians.

The set

The set includes two XR 2 Ah batteries, a fast charger and a TSTAK case. The batteries fit the other XR 18V tools.
