This outstanding ISP programmer is dedicated to all ATMEL AVR microcontrollers that can be programmed via the SPI interface. Its powerful 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 processor with dedicated firmware provides extremely fast programming. This innovative device offers adaptive speed control, which automatically adjusts the SPI rate.

Support

The software is compatible with: AVR Studio 4, AVR Studio 5, ATMEL Studio 6 + 7, AVRDUDE, Bascom (with the setting Options - Programmer = STK500: C: Program Files Atmel AVR Tools STK500 stk500.exe) and with AVR Studio installed. The program supports Atmel ATTiny, Atmel ATMega microcontrollers and all AVR controllers that support the SPI interface.

Installation

To install the appropriate virtual Comport driver, download the file "ERFOS-PROG.ZIP". After unpacking the ZIP file, open the unknown device in Device Manager, select "Update driver software" and point to the directory containing the file "ERFOS-PROG.INF". On Windows 8.x, look for the relevant information online. On Windows 10, driver installation is not required; the programmer is automatically recognized as "Serial USB Device".

Specifications

Very fast programming cycle, adaptive speed control. Power: 3.3 V 120 mA, 5 V 500 mA. Does not require power from the target device. Compatible with the STK500 command and with USB 2.0. Has 2 LEDs for function monitoring. Data is transmitted at 12 megabits. Data transfer is controlled by software, with the option of selecting a slower transfer. Self-consumption: approx. 15mA. Wrapped in foil.
