Elixir NANOWEB 10-47 - acoustic guitar strings, Nanoweb coating

Elixir NANOWEB 10-47 - acoustic guitar strings

Elixir NANOWEB is one of the most popular acoustic guitar string sets, valued by musicians for its durability and clear, balanced sound. The strings are made of bronze and covered with a thin Nanoweb coating that protects against sweat, dust and moisture.

A coating that protects the tone

The NANOWEB coating surrounds the entire string, slowing the metal oxidation process responsible for dulling the sound. As a result, the strings keep the fresh, bright tone of the first days after installation for longer, while having a natural feel, similar to uncoated strings.

Balanced, bright sound

The Extra Light gauge set (10-47) works well for both chord playing and more subtle fingerpicking. The strings ring out clearly across the whole range while keeping individual notes in chords well defined.

Durability for long hours of playing

Thanks to the protective coating, Elixir strings last many more hours of playing than typical uncoated strings before losing their fresh sound. Guitarists who play regularly and want to change strings less often will especially appreciate this solution.
