Casio FX-CG50 – graphing calculator for school and university, black

Casio FX-CG50 – graphing calculator

The FX-CG50 is a Casio graphing calculator designed for school and university students who need advanced mathematical functions in math, physics or chemistry classes. The model has a color display with a resolution that clearly shows 8 lines of 21 characters, including graphs and symbolic calculations.

Computing capabilities

The calculator supports function graphing, calculations with complex numbers, matrices and vectors, as well as statistics and probability. The color screen makes it easier to tell several graphs apart at once and to read the results of more complex calculations.

Power and build

The device is powered by a CR2 battery, included in the set, which allows long operation without charging. The housing is made of durable black plastic, and the product is supplied in a blister pack.

Use in education

The FX-CG50 works well in high school math classes and during exams where graphing calculators are allowed. This makes it a good calculator for school and for final exams in math and physics, when the exam rules permit graphing models. It is a tool for people who need more capability than a basic scientific calculator, without having to use a computer.
