Garmin BabyCam - wireless in-car baby monitor camera

Garmin BabyCam - in-car baby monitor camera

BabyCam is a wireless camera mounted on the rear seat that lets the driver watch a child riding in a car seat without turning around. The image from the camera is shown directly on the screen of a compatible Garmin car navigator, after switching the device from navigation mode to the child camera view.

Image quality and mounting

The camera records at 720p or 1080p at 30 frames per second, and the wide 110-degree field of view covers most of the rear seat. Night mode lets you watch the child after dark as well, without extra lighting that could wake them. It mounts on the seat headrest in a few minutes, without tools.

Power and extra features

The camera is powered by AA batteries and connects wirelessly to a compatible Garmin navigator, so no extra cables need to run through the car interior. The device can also remind you to check the rear seat before leaving the vehicle.
