Shokz OpenRun Mini – bone conduction headphones

The Shokz OpenRun Mini are wireless sports headphones that use bone conduction technology. Instead of plugging the ear, they rest in front of the ear, passing sound through the bones of the skull, so they do not block ambient sounds – which matters when running or cycling in traffic.

Fit and comfort

The Mini model has a headband 21 mm shorter than the standard size, which provides a more stable fit on smaller heads. The open design means the headphones work well with glasses and bike helmets without putting pressure on the ears.

Sound and durability

PremiumPitch 2.0+ technology delivers stereo sound with clear bass despite the small size of the device. The headphones are IP67 rated, which protects them from sweat, rain and splashes, so they are suitable for intense workouts in any conditions.

Battery and connectivity

On a single charge the headphones run for up to 8 hours, and a quick 10-minute charge adds about 1.5 hours of use. Connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 5.1 with a range of up to about 10 meters, and control is via buttons on the housing – volume, calls and media playback.
