Dyson Airstrait HT01

The Dyson Airstrait is a hair straightener that does not use hot plates pressed directly against the hair. Instead, the strand is guided between two arms, from which a stream of warm air is directed at a 45-degree angle, smoothing the hair from root to tip.

Real-time temperature control

Glass thermistors placed inside the arms check the airflow temperature up to sixteen times per second and adjust it continuously, which is meant to limit the risk of overheating the hair during styling.

Display and lock function

A color LCD shows the current airflow and temperature settings, and a lock slider lets you lock the arms of the device, which is useful when towel-drying hair and adding volume at the roots.

Drying and straightening in one device

The Airstrait can be used on both wet and dry hair, so one device replaces a hair dryer and a straightener in your daily styling routine.
