Zoom H1essential - portable 32-bit float audio recorder, black

Zoom H1essential - portable audio recorder

The Zoom H1essential is a compact audio recorder intended for musicians, podcasters, filmmakers and people recording interviews and voice notes in the field. The device records sound in WAV format using 32-bit float technology, so even sudden loud sounds do not clip the recording, and quieter passages stay clear without having to manually set the input level before starting.

Built-in stereo microphones

The recorder is fitted with a built-in pair of microphones in an X/Y arrangement, which provide a wide stereo image and good separation of sound sources, and can handle recording a band rehearsal as well as a conversation in a quieter setting.

Versatile use

• Recording music, rehearsals and acoustic concerts
• Podcasts, interviews and voice notes
• Sound for video material and content production
• USB microphone function for live streaming from a computer

The H1essential connects to a computer, an Android phone or an iOS device as a class-compliant USB microphone, which makes streaming and working easier without an extra audio interface. The manufacturer also provided a voice guidance function to help visually impaired users operate it.
