Fabater LCD bezel for Dell Latitude 5480 laptop - front cover, black

Fabater front LCD bezel for Dell Latitude 5480/E5490 laptop

The front screen bezel is the part of the laptop casing that surrounds the display panel - it holds the panel in place, covers the edges of the display and gives the laptop lid a neat finish. Replacing a cracked or scratched bezel restores the laptop's tidy appearance without having to buy a new panel or the whole lid.

Applications

• Direct replacement for Dell Latitude 5480, E5480, E5490 and E5491 models
• Precise cut-out matched to the edges of the panel and the webcam
• Clips and mounting holes matching the factory spacing

Material and construction

The bezel is made of ABS plastic - a material resistant to cracking and deformation in everyday use. The black matte finish echoes the original styling of the casing, so after installation it is hard to tell apart from the factory part.

Installation

Replacement requires disassembling the laptop's top lid - it is recommended to leave this to someone experienced in computer repair so as not to damage the panel or the signal ribbon cables. Keep the original screws and clips from the removed bezel for reassembly.
